Pair a validated Windows helper for live v6.11.5 detection. Browser WAV recording works without it; exact WebAssembly inference is not validated yet. No detection means no new automatic enrollment or trimmed detected audio; the original WAVs remain available for later analysis.

QR identification and card-photo saving do not require OCR. CPU transcription is optional, requires the native OCR runtime, and is deferred during recording. Video starts only when you request it.

New computer

One setup per recording station

  1. Sign in with GoogleUse the lab account or an invited account. Lab membership is verified before opening the workspace.
  2. Choose this computer’s recording folderChrome asks for permission. The account tracks the location; it does not grant access to the whole computer.
  3. Connect and test the microphonesAllow microphone access, enable only the intended channels, then run the input check. Nothing records automatically.
Optional Windows helper

Browser WAV recording needs no installer. The universal helper benchmarks this PC and activates the best supported mode: full v6.11.5 inference on qualified CUDA or CPU hardware, Fast-CPU retention triage, or recording-only. It also enables native ASIO capture and local handwriting OCR. Downloading it does not install it—you must run and approve it on that computer.
